The TempTale® Ultra Dry Ice Probe monitor is an ideal solution for monitoring in-transit and storage temperatures of biological samples (i.e., tissue, blood, etc.) and temperature-sensitive biomedical/pharmacological products that require very low temperatures to maintain their stability.
Probe options include 1 meter (3.3 foot) and 3 meter (10 foot) lengths, perfect for monitoring temperature close to product inside dry ice shippers or large dry ice freezers. The TempTale Ultra Dry Ice Probe monitor allows supply-chain partners (such as customs agents, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, distributors, and hospitals) to disconnect/reconnect the probe, to assess temperature data and alarm status without opening the carton (no disruption of temperature probe as it continues on its journey). For shipping lanes involving customs agents, this is a “must have” requirement (i.e., Saudi Arabia FDA Regulations).
The detachable probe enables receivers to read the LCD status immediately, thereby expediting decisions at the dock, no longer requiring the LCD to “warm-up” and display the alarm status. The TempTale Ultra Dry Ice Probe monitor is available in both Single Use, Single Use Overwrite, and Multi Use recording options.

Features and Benefits

• External dry ice probe allows customers to record temperatures inside packaging and view key temperature indicators on the monitor’s LCD outside of the package without opening the package.
• No longer will probes need to acclimate to the frozen environment each time the package is inspected or the monitor is downloaded. Temperature monitoring remains more stable now that the probe can remain next to the product inside the dry ice shipper, while the actual USB monitor remains on the outside for easy data downloading.
• Direct USB connection to PC—no proprietary reader or USB adapter needed to access data stored on monitor; PDF options are configurable: selectable time zones and languages enhance usability at international receiving sites.
